The Evolve Pinned Crank Hub is the permanent fix for the notorious crank hub slip that plagues BMW S55 and N55 engines. When the factory press-fit hub slips, it throws timing and can cause catastrophic piston-to-valve contact — this pinned solution mechanically locks the hub to the crank so it can't move.
